Russian Language Grandma on the apple tree
 
 Austrian writer Mira Lobe includes two fairy tales in a wonderful translation by Lilianna Lungina - "Grandma on the Apple Tree" and "How It Was with Mokhnatka". Both stories tell about the world of children's fantasies, about love for animals, about warm family relationships. If you are alone, then there will always be an Apple Tree grandmother, with whom you can enjoy ice cream and sweets to your heart's content, ride merry-go-rounds and horses, and from whom you will never hear the forbidden word: "no."
