Tom Gates continues to draw in his diary (although he annoys some of the teachers when he does it during class). Nothing seems to be able to spoil Tom's mood before his birthday.
Except of course:
a) Mrs. WorthinVuSA,
b) Mr. Fullerman's homework,
c) the school disco where DAD WANTS YOU TO DJ,
d) many other reasons that make you want to give up the celebration altogether.
